I have been a firm believer in Chiropractic medicine for a number of years.  However, it had been a very long time since I had had any kind of adjustments or treatments from a Chiropractor.  In January of 2006 I came to see Dr. Gerni with the normal aches and pains associated with reaching that fateful time in your life, Middle-age.  He very easily took care of those.  I then presented him with a problem that I have been suffering with for well over 20 years, migraine headaches. I would have a migraine practically every month, sometimes 2 a month and they would last for a few days to sometimes over a week. I had sought the traditional treatment of these headaches with no luck, the medicines left me feeling numb and dis-connected, and being a single parent of 2 teenage girls as well as having a very demanding and time consuming job, the traditional medicines were not an option for me.

Along with adjustments, Dr. Gerni tested me for various allergies that he felt could be contributing to my headaches and recommended that I take the various supplements to help clear up those allergies.  I did take the supplements, followed his advice and noticed a great improvement in a very short time.  Even though the frequency and duration of my headaches had dramatically been reduced I was still having them.

Very recently I was hit with another brain-numbing migraine, fortunately I was able to get in to see Dr. Gerni very soon after it started.  After giving me an adjustment he asked if I would be interested in trying an ultrasound treatment for this headache.  At this point in time I was willing to try anything. During the treatment I could feel the headache easing.  After the treatment I felt So much better.  I couldn’t believe that I had gotten relief that quickly.

I am still taking the supplements that Dr. Gerni asked me to take, I still get my regular adjustments, and I now get an ultrasound treatment to hopefully prevent my migraines from returning. I feel great!
